For many decades, law firm Scoccini & Associati has been assisting farmers and agricultural companies that operate in a wide range of sectors, such as arable, zootechnics, wine production, milk production, fruits and vegetables and tobacco. Specifically, we advise and assist them in their relations with public authorities (in particular the Paying Agency for the agricultural industry) in the context of the application of European rules.
We represent them both in judicial and extra-judicial cases, when it is impossible to reach an alternative solution. Scoccini & Associati has over the years secured hundreds of significant damages recoveries for famers and agricultural companies against the Agea (the Paying Agency for the agricultural industry), in instances where the latter denied European funds or because of other failures of the Agency.
Scoccini & Associati has considerable know-how of the relevant European regulations, including the rules that were in force prior to the CAP (Common Agricultural Policy) reform and after approval of the CE Reg. 1782/2003 (which has established the Direct Payment). It also possesses expertise in relation to the current regime of the EU Reg. 1307/2013.
